TKD Identification Card


WTF Membership Card Design

World Taekwondo Federation (President Chung Won Choue, WTF) will issue Membership Card to all its members. It is similar to Kukkiwon card, but can be viewed as an identification card for all TKD people.

WTF decided in the Continental Union Meeting, which took place from February 3rd to the 6th. WTF determined to compensate for all the cost of the Membership Card, and it is estimated to cost roughly $7 per card.

There is no specific detail to how they are going to utilize the Membership Cards. There is a rumor that it is going to be necessary in order to participate in WTF sanctioned events. The new Membership Card might replace the need for "Kukkiwon 1 dan and above" qualification.

On the 4th, WTF discussed about the upcoming WTF Training Center. Potential locations for the WTF Training Centers are: Africa, Asia, Oceania, and Pan-America.
